A word is five characters. In Devanagari it is five grapheme clusters, so क्ष counts once.

Built for Devanagari first
Most typing sites compare text one code point at a time. That breaks Nepali: क्ष is three code points but one thing you aim at and one thing you should be scored on. Our engine compares whole grapheme clusters, validates matra ordering, and counts a Devanagari word as five clusters.
